Many years ago. I used to work in Sicily, just outside Palermo.
And it was on the Mediterranean and The Med was everything one hears. Some people say you don't start to live until you live the Mediterranean.
And of all the nice things about working there, one of the nicest was going down to the seaside, the lido, of an evening. A place called Mondello.
And there'd be lots and lots of people out for a walk with their families. You'd run into heaps of people, say hello, maybe have a drink or a bit of dinner together. It was a very wonderful way to spend an evening.
